About us
Hello! My name is Dr. Caressa Dang, and welcome to our family program, Malu Lani Cavaliers.
We are a family-run program consisting of my husband, our three boys, and me. My husband is originally from London, England, and after 10 years, he finally became a United States citizen. We love working together as a family and, most importantly, pre-spoiling all of our babies before they become your babies. ❤️
Our love for Cavaliers began with my mother around 1997. Our very first Cavalier was a black and tan named Dutchess, whose parents were imported from England. Eventually, we decided to try our hand at the show ring, and that is where my mother truly fell in love with the breed.
She later welcomed a beautiful Blenheim named Hannah, along with a tricolor named Mackmae and a Blenheim male named Ipo. These dogs were her pride and joy. Over the years, my mother and I continued showing and breeding Cavaliers together, building a lifelong love and dedication to this wonderful breed.
You may have noticed that many of our dogs have unique names. That is because they are Hawaiian, and each name carries a special meaning. In fact, when we chose our kennel name, we wanted something meaningful as well. Malu Lani Cavaliers means “Protected by Heaven.” ❤️
Over the past 20-plus years, my mother has since retired from breeding and showing, but I have continued the journey. Although I no longer show, I remain dedicated to researching, learning, and continually striving to better the breed. My goal is to produce Cavalier King Charles Spaniels with excellent health, beautiful conformation, and the loving temperaments that make this breed so special.
For many years, we focused primarily on the traditional parti colors—the Blenheim and the tricolor. More recently, I have expanded my program to include solid colors and chocolates. This is a long-term project, and it will take time before we are able to produce the combinations we are working toward, but we are excited about the future and look forward to what is to come.
At the heart of everything we do, our dogs are family first. We are a small program, and each litter is carefully planned and raised with love, attention, and dedication. Our puppies are cherished and pre-spoiled from the very beginning, and we are honored when families choose to welcome one of our babies into their homes. ❤️🐾

We have 2 chocolates males available, choclate and tan and chocolat ruby. They have had their first set of puppy shots and had a clear healthy checkup.
